What is Boo Boo Buddy?
Boo Boo Buddy is a reusable plush comfort product designed to hold a hot or cold gel pack. It helps soothe bumps, aches, sick days and big feelings while giving children something soft and comforting to hold. Boo Boo Buddy is not a toy.
What comes in a Boo Boo Buddy set?
Each Boo Boo Buddy set includes one plush cover and one reusable gel pack. Only one gel pack is included per set. Extra gel packs can be purchased separately if you would like a spare.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes. We offer local delivery within a fifteen kilometre radius of Beaudesert, Queensland 4285. If your address is eligible, the local delivery option will automatically appear at checkout. Delivery details will be provided after your order is placed.
Can I buy a single replacement gel pack?
Yes. Replacement gel packs are available to purchase separately if you ever need one. This can be helpful if a gel pack becomes damaged or if you would like to have a spare ready to use.
How do I use Boo Boo Buddy?
Boo Boo Buddy can be used for both warm and cold comfort. Always insert the gel pack into the plush cover before giving it to your child. Adult supervision is required at all times.
How do I heat the gel pack?
To heat the gel pack, submerge it in hot, not boiling, water for four to ten minutes. Alternatively, place the gel pack in a microwave safe container filled with water and heat for fifteen to ninety seconds at six hundred watts. Always test the temperature before use. Never overheat.
How do I cool the gel pack?
To use cold, place the gel pack in the freezer until chilled. Always check the temperature before placing it into the plush cover.
How long can my child use Boo Boo Buddy?
We recommend using Boo Boo Buddy for around ten to twenty minutes at a time. Always supervise your child and remove the product once comfort has been achieved.
What age is Boo Boo Buddy suitable for?
Boo Boo Buddy is recommended for children aged three years and older. It is not suitable for children under three years. Adult supervision is required at all times.
Is Boo Boo Buddy safe?
Boo Boo Buddy is designed for comfort and supervised use only. Always use with the plush cover. Check the gel pack for leaks or damage before each use. Discontinue use immediately if the gel pack is punctured or leaking.
What should I do if the gel pack is damaged?
If the gel pack becomes punctured, damaged or begins leaking, stop using it immediately and dispose of it safely. Boo Boo Buddy gel packs are not designed to be used once damaged.
Do you replace damaged gel packs?
We replace gel packs only if they arrive damaged or faulty and have not been used. If your order arrives with a punctured or leaking gel pack, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe after delivery. We are unable to replace gel packs that have been used or damaged after use.
What if gel contents are swallowed?
If the contents of the gel pack are swallowed, contact the Poisons Information line immediately on thirteen eleven twenty six. Seek medical advice if required.
Does Boo Boo Buddy replace medical care?
No. Boo Boo Buddy is designed to provide comfort only. It does not replace medical advice or treatment. If you are concerned about your child’s injury or health, please seek professional medical care.
