Keep the plush cover away from the freezer, microwave and water. Only the removable gel pack is cooled or warmed.
For cool comfort
For bumps, bruises and everyday little knocks
- Remove the gel pack from the plush cover.
- Place the gel pack in the freezer for the time stated in the care instructions supplied with your product.
- Inspect and test it. Do not use a pack that is damaged or leaking. An adult must check the temperature before use.
- Insert it fully into the Boo Boo Buddy cover and secure the opening before giving it to your child.
For gentle warmth
For cosy, calming comfort
- Remove the gel pack from the plush cover.
- Fully submerge the gel pack in a microwave-safe bowl of water before placing the bowl in the microwave. Never microwave the gel pack on its own.
- Heat only for the time and at the power level stated in the care instructions supplied with your Boo Boo Buddy. Do not overheat.
- Use care with the hot water. An adult must remove the pack, dry it completely, distribute the warmth and test the temperature before placing it inside the cover.

Microwave wattages and gel packs can vary. Always follow the heating time, power level and all warnings printed on the care instructions supplied with your specific Boo Boo Buddy. If those instructions are missing or unclear, do not heat the packācontact us first.

A quick safety check matters
Boo Boo Buddy is designed for comfort, but hot and cold products must always be prepared and monitored by an adult.
- Adult preparation and supervision are required. Boo Boo Buddy is suitable for ages 3+.
- Never place the plush cover in the freezer, microwave or bowl of water. Remove the gel pack first.
- Always use the gel pack inside its Boo Boo Buddy cover, not directly against skin.
- Check the temperature before use and regularly during use. Stop immediately if it feels too hot, too cold or uncomfortable.
- Do not use if the gel pack is torn, punctured, leaking, swollen or otherwise damaged. Do not allow chewing.
- This product provides comfort and is not a substitute for medical care. Seek professional advice for serious, persistent or concerning symptoms.

No. Always remove the gel pack from the plush cover. Fully submerge only the gel pack in a microwave-safe bowl of water, then follow the exact microwave time and power level in the instructions supplied with your product. Never microwave the gel pack on its own.
Can the plush cover go in the freezer?
No. Remove the gel pack and cool only the pack. Once prepared, inspected and temperature-checked by an adult, place the gel pack back inside the dry plush cover.
Should the gel pack touch my childās skin?
No. The gel pack should be used inside its Boo Boo Buddy plush cover. An adult should check the temperature and the childās skin regularly during use.
What if my care instructions are missing?
