Our story

Hello, I’m Chloe, a mum of three kids and the founder of Boo Boo Buddy.

So much of motherhood came naturally to me, but the injuries did not. My kids are always hurting themselves, and sometimes they hurt each other, and when they are upset they do not want to hold a bulky lunch box ice brick wrapped in a tea towel.

And don’t even get me started on the bag of peas idea, the risk of it spilling everywhere is an instant no thank you. Or a few bits of ice in a ziplock bag that melts within minutes.

I kept thinking there had to be a better way, something that actually helps soothe injuries but also offers comfort at the same time.

My middle child struggles to regulate, so when he is injured he truly feels like the world is ending. When we started testing Boo Boo Buddy, I was genuinely surprised by how well it worked, not just for hot and cold relief, but for comfort too.

With a mum cuddle and Boo Boo Buddy in his arms, he instantly feels safer and calmer. That is when I realised this was not just an ice pack, it was a comfort buddy.

I began Boo Boo Buddy at the end of 2023, and let me tell you, it has been a process. But it has been so worth it, and I am so excited for our launch on February 1, 2026.
